A long term friendship between Carol Rama and Edoardo Sanguineti has been highly relevant for Carol. This is the reason why I decided to tribute their union of vision with a double portrait, inscribed in a frame of steel iron rod used for concrete. At the very center of the portrait, two daguerrotype portraits, like two foci of an elliptical drawing: Carol Rama surrouded by torn photographic emulsions reproducing some of her works, mainly drawn on paper; Sanguineti surrounded by scraps of poems he wrote thinking about Carol’s works.
